Resumo:
The aim of this study was to develop and preliminarily validate a research instrument, in the form of a questionnaire, to assess pedagogical preferences for sports learning among young and adult students/athletes involved in organized sports programs. This was a descriptive research of mixed nature (qualitative and quantitative), structured and developed in three stages: 1) Narrative literature review; 2) Development of indicators; and 3) Validation of indicators by experts in Sports Pedagogy. The instrument was evaluated for language clarity, practical relevance, theoretical relevance, and theoretical dimension. Data were collected and subjected to statistical analysis to calculate the Content Validity Coefficient (CVC) to determine content validation and Kappa agreement analysis. Results showed means above the cutoff value (0.80) for all criteria, with clarity of language at 0.965, practical relevance at 0.959, and theoretical relevance at 0.961. For the theoretical dimension, the indicators obtained an overall value of 0.86 on the Kappa coefficient, indicating a level of agreement classified as almost perfect. It is inferred, therefore, that the developed indicators are capable of assessing pedagogical preferences of students/athletes. Furthermore, it is important to highlight that the purpose of this instrument is not to confine individuals within a specific epistemological terminology, but rather to broaden perspectives, providing a deeper understanding of the nature of pedagogical actions and interventions aimed at sports education.
