Resumo:
This work, carried out in 2023, deals with the University Residence of the Federal University of Amazonas, located on the Manaus campus, as well as the respective building systems for cold water, sanitary sewage and rainwater drainage. Data on this subject were collected by consulting institutional archives and interacting with various agents working in this university residence, including managers, technicians, and employees who were involved in the fieldwork, as well as in the discussion and evaluation of the results produced. To aid in the management of this student residence, including the building and building systems, characterizations, diagnoses, and improvement proposals are presented, compatible with the existing physical infrastructure and institutional management processes and procedures. We sought to innovate in some of the proposals presented, applying augmented reality technologies to produce full-scale information and images of the building's water systems, in language accessible to the various users, mainly residents and managers of this building. In this way, it is hoped that this work will contribute to the efficient and sustainable management of this student residence, based on the appropriate correction of the non-conformities identified, as well as complementing the documentation relating to the physical infrastructure, especially through the future preparation of the respective manual for use, operation and maintenance.
