The purpose of this work is to explore the artistic process of an author who combines technical deconstruction in drawing or graphism with the concept of decoloniality in their artistic expression. The goal is to understand how these approaches are essential to contemporary art production. This research begins by analyzing the author's artwork, which involves observing anatomical parts of the artist themselves and adapting them to the perspective of deconstruction in artistic production. Technical deconstruction involves questioning and challenging traditional norms in art through deconditioning. Decoloniality aims to destabilize the Eurocentric structures of the canons present in contemporary art, where most anatomies are characterized by Greek traits. The impact of this theme on the current artistic scene will be analyzed, as it represents a new line of poetic thought for the author called "ancestral lines". This line seeks to rescue the cultural ancestry of the caboclo imaginary, highlighting the possibilities of transformation and resistance that they can provide through art. |
