Milk is obtained through complete and uninterrupted milking from healthy, well-fed and rested cows, under hygienic conditions, as described in the Regulations on the Industrial and Sanitary Inspection of Animal Origin. In order to standardize production and ensure milk quality, the National Milk Quality Improvement Program (PNMQL), through Normative Instruction (IN) No. 76/77, established production guidelines and physicochemical standards for The milk. In this context, considering the importance of milk quality, the supervised internship was carried out at the Dairy Quality Laboratory (LABLAC) of the Institute of Social Sciences, Education and Animal Science (ICSEZ). The internship took place from December 4, 2023 to March 8, 2024 under the supervision of zootechnician Virna Ribeiro Hayden. In the laboratory, practical classes and research were monitored, in addition to physical-chemical analyses, Somatic Cell Count (CCS) and Milk Urea Nitrogen (NUL). Carrying out the supervised internship at the Dairy Quality Laboratory provided the acquisition of knowledge, as well as experiencing the routine of a laboratory that carries out milk quality analysis, gaining experience about the importance of analyzing milk. In this way, the internship developed at LABLAC allowed all the knowledge acquired during graduation regarding milk quality to be put into practice, contributing significantly to professional training. |
