This study investigated the impact of Artificial Intelligence (AI) on recruitment and selection processes in organizations in Manaus/AM, aiming to evaluate how the use of this technology influences efficiency and accuracy in candidate screening, as well as its relationship with talent retention. The research, which is descriptive and quantitative in nature, is based on data collected through a questionnaire administered to managers and human resource professionals from local companies. The sample consisted of 27 respondents, predominantly human resource analysts from small businesses. Participants' experience ranged from 1 to 3 years, with a significant portion having over 10 years of experience in human resource management. The AI tools analyzed in the study include chatbots, automated resume screening, and predictive analytics, which contribute to greater agility in selection processes and improved precision in identifying compatible profiles. The results show considerable improvements in hiring time, interview quality, and operational cost reduction. However, challenges such as internal resistance from managers, lack of process customization, and high implementation costs still need to be addressed. It is concluded that AI has significant potential to optimize human resource management processes, enabling more assertive decisions aligned with organizational objectives, which in turn enhances company competitiveness and the quality of hires. |
