The Urban Park Project for the Igarapé da Cachoeirinha aims to revitalize the stream’s banks, fostering social inclusion, sustainability, and environmental enhancement. Strategically located between the neighborhoods of Cachoeirinha, Petrópolis, São Francisco, and Raiz, the park seeks to transform the area into a vibrant hub for leisure, culture, and nature, addressing challenges such as high population density, crime, and a lack of public spaces. The proposal integrates land-use redevelopment, thoughtful design strategies, and accessible financing to create an inclusive green space that improves quality of life, boosts property values, and establishes a model for sustainable urban development. |
