This study analyzed the perception of military police officers in the state of
Amazonas about the corporation's People Management policies, describing the
levels of well-being experienced by these professionals and investigating the
relationship between these policies and well-being in the workplace. The
research adopts a quantitative, descriptive approach, applying structured
questionnaires based on the People Management Policies Perception Scale
(EPPGP) and the Well-being at Work Scale (EBET). The object of the study was
the Military Police of the state of Amazonas. 70 active and reserve military police
officers took part. Descriptive and correlation analyses were carried out to
analyze the results. The results of the perception of GP policies indicate that
although there is a greater perception of training policies, fundamental aspects
such as working conditions and rewards have gaps that need attention. In terms
of well-being, there is a predominance of positive affect, but the impact of
negative affect is also felt to a similar degree, demonstrating a fine line between
positive and negative emotional experiences. The results of the correlation
showed that working conditions and training are strongly related to police
involvement, promoting engagement and internal cohesion. In addition, the
correlations between involvement, reward and achievement highlight that
recognition can be essential for increasing motivation, appreciation and the bond
between professionals and the police force. |
