Resumo:
The lack of tools and parameters in public health policies and programs in education permeates the lack of knowledge in the health area, reflecting in the lack of interest of a healthy population that appropriates formal and informal knowledge in the school area. The lack of synergy between the health and education sectors can compromise the effectiveness in promoting healthy behaviors and in disseminating the understanding about the importance of health in the school community. The work analyzes publications in journals and on official websites about the registered actions of the Health in Schools Program in Brazil between 2013 and 2023, identifying which regions, Brazilian states and institutions have the most publicized initiatives, as well as which health promotion activities are most present. This is a systematic review research, which considers studies with primary population data, experience reports, abstracts in conference proceedings that are available in the databases.
