Resumo:
This study aims to analyze the growth dynamics of the productive structure of Amazonas in the periods. It is the evolution of formal employment through an analysis of the subdivisions of the eight sectors classified by the IBGE in the structural-differential method. In this way, it seeks to understand the productive dynamics of Amazonas from the time frames of the periods 2003-2013 and 2013-2023, in addition to making an analysis of the labor market at national levels. The data used were extracted from the Annual Report of Social Information (RAIS) of the Ministry of Labor and Employment. The results found show an increase in employment in the first period and specialization of the productive sectors of the State, in turn, the second period is characterized as a period of retraction of formal employment and non-specialization of the productive segments, in addition to the specialization of the services and trade sectors throughout the analysis and sectors linked to the production of primary goods, On the other hand, there is a reduction in specialization and competitiveness of sectors related to industry, as well as a drastic reduction in the volume of jobs in the public administration sector, responsible for the highest level of employment in the first period. The results can facilitate the understanding of the productive dynamics of the State, as well as its degree of competitiveness and specialization throughout the beginning of the twenty-first century.
