The theme of this final undergraduate project is: “Praça dos Buritis: Leisure, Sustainability and Accessibility in a Community Space”. The project will seek to develop an intervention that reaches and is of use to all people in the surrounding area, without making distinctions and avoiding any barriers that impede access. People who live in the surrounding area of the lot have few possibilities for immediate leisure, which prevents a healthy urban life. In this way, the intervention project will requalify the space, bringing dynamism and diverse possibilities of use through the creation of walking areas, accessible playgrounds for children, a community pool, sand courts, multi-sports and soccer courts, martial arts rooms, as well as a gym that will have the flexibility to have its use changed according to the needs of the users.
