The present work addresses photography and the Ratha Yatra Festival, a spiritual celebration held annually by the Hare Krishna community in the city of São Paulo. Contextualized as a cultural and religious manifestation of significant social relevance, the festival brings together devotees and supporters in an event that promotes spirituality, unity and cultural diversity in the middle of the urban environment. The execution of the experimental project emphasized photographic documentation and the production of a photobook, in a study that sought to explore the relationship between photography, cultural memory and religious representation. The main objective is to record and interpret, from photographs, the practices and symbolisms of the festival in question, identifying the relevance of the event both for the Hare Krishna community and for society. O presente trabalho aborda a fotografia e o Festival Ratha Yatra, uma celebração espiritual realizada anualmente pela comunidade Hare Krishna na cidade de São Paulo. Contextualizado como uma manifestação cultural e religiosa de significativa relevância social, o festival reúne devotos e simpatizantes em um evento que promove a espiritualidade, a união e a diversidade cultural em pleno ambiente urbano. A execução do projeto experimental deu ênfase à documentação fotográfica e à produção de um fotolivro, num estudo que buscou explorar a relação entre fotografia, memória cultural e representação religiosa. O principal objetivo é registrar e interpretar, a partir de fotografias, as práticas e simbolismos do festival em questão, identificando a relevância do evento tanto para a comunidade Hare Krishna quanto para a sociedade. 3 Atualizar a plataforma para ser mais intuitivo e de fácil compreensão.
