This research aims to present the ways in which the linguistic cultural artifact is used, as well as other artifacts used by deaf people in a company in the Industrial District. According to the author Albres (2013), in inclusion, attitudes are worth more than words that often welcome those in need. Menezes (2017) shows us that every individual has their own culture, even if few share or demonstrate it. Santos (2011) states that when a family has a deaf child and accepts him, speaks his language and welcomes him, makes him feel part of the family and strengthens him in the deaf identity and culture. In this sense, this work presents the forms of communication and the use of the linguistic cultural artifact and other artifacts among a group of deaf people in a given organization. To carry out this activity, qualitative research was adopted, with interpretation of data collected through questionnaires answered by deaf and hearing employees and, finally, a strong sense of belonging to the deaf community was perceived in the results, with the use of the linguistic cultural artifact, represented by Libras. |
