Considered an important strategy in the teaching-learning process, experimental activities have played a highly relevant role within the didactic-methodological context regarding the understanding of topics related to Science teaching, contributing to meaningful learning. Methodologies that prioritize teaching through experimental activities, specifically for Physics education, have been a common practice adopted by teachers in the classroom and have been developed since the 19th century. Thus, in this research, we aim to conduct a state-of-the-art review to understand the approaches taken in experimental activities for Physics education in scientific studies produced over the past five years (2017–2021). For this purpose, we will use the CAPES Journals Portal as the database to map the productions (articles). Through content analysis of the selected articles, we hope to identify the approaches to experimental Physics activities that can contribute to a better understanding of these strategies as presented in the most recent publications in the field. |
