Resumo:
The Myrciaria dubia (H.B.K.) McVaugh, Myrtaceae, Amazonian native fruit has proven nutritional potential nationally and internationally according to researchers in the field, and the pulp product of most interest to many consumption. However, the extraction of this product is generated an effective quantity of different waste, solid and liquid. Among these stands out the seed, possibly as much nutrient-rich pulps, which are still discarded by small agro region. In this case, it is believed that they are not exploited economically, due to no or little bioprospecting study performed to date, with a view to its industrial application or otherwise. There is a shortage of more detailed information that facilitate their identification, characterization, preservation, transport and storage conditions, especially the sample before analysis. Therefore, in this thesis aimed to conduct studies of technological bioprospecting for description, characterization and verification of the agri-food potential of these seeds, in order to confirm the viability of an industrial or commercial production as a product or process, from at least one functional attribute of this component. The results obtained are satisfactory. They are presented in six chapters, formatted articles according to the established objectives. They are as follows: 1– Description and automated seed morphostructural characterization of M. dubia (Kunth) McVaugh: diagnosis by image; 2– Bioprospecting technology applied in caçari seeds how to benefit bioproducts agrifood development; minerals in aqueous extract of the coproducts Myrciaria dubia (Kunth.) McVaugh, Myrtaceae; 4– Phytotoxicity of extracts of M. dubia (Kunth) McVaugh bioprocessed in vegetable crop sensitive to allelochemicals; 5– Acaricides activity extract a seed base of fruit caçari and 6 ¬ Effect of some myrtaceae plants extracts on Callosobruchus maculatus in grass legume. The techniques and methods used laboratory applications allowed the verification of seeds and agro-food potential of compounds with potential sources of identification green biotechnology, it being possible for replication studies in other species.
