Seeking to understand the formation of this social subject from his references analyzing his autobiographical narrative. As a methodological tool, the concepts of life histories are used, based on the hermeneutic theory of Paul Ricoeur. The first chapter presents the socio-historical aspects that serve as the background for the analysis of this narrative. The second chapter talks about the theoretical-methodological part of the research. And the third chapter, will describe the life narrative of this historical-social subject. Esta pesquisa tem como objetivo a compreensão da trajetória de vida da liderança indígena Macuxi, Jacir de Souza, a partir da construção de suas referências e da subjetividade de suas representações na luta social e política dentro do contexto histórico de formação e consolidação do movimento indígena de Roraima, durante o período que compreende as décadas de 1970 e 1980. Buscando assim, compreender a formação deste sujeito social a partir de suas referências, e sobre a análise de sua narrativa autobiográfica. Como ferramenta metodológica, utiliza-se os conceitos de histórias de vidas, cunhadas a partir da teoria hermenêutica de Paul Ricoeur. No primeiro capítulo é apresentado os aspectos sócio-históricos que servem como pano de fundo para a análise desta narrativa. O segundo capítulo, abordará a parte teórica-metodólogica da pesquisa.
