Interest in the subject was awakened from Missioecológica ideology adopted by the Green Baptist Church in Boa Vista / RR. Therefore, there were visits, observations and interviews in the church object of this research, extending to the towns of Santa Elena de Uiarém (Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela) and the town of Lethem (Cooperative Republic of Guyana). At first, we analyzed the theoretical currents related to the theme, highlighting the important factors of the religious movement with emphasis on Missioecologia and eco development. Then we conducted a survey on religion and society: a theoretical discussion, role of the church in the state formation process, historicity of religion and its role in different societies, highlighting the leading role of belief in ancient and contemporary people. For more than pragmatic measures adopted, it became interesting to study the doctrinal content and religious positions that have been disseminated to fans and supporters of the green movement, as well as those proposed by the churches of Missioecológica ideology. It also assessed the question of religion and speech, environmental awareness, the role of belief in finding solutions to environmental problems and the new ecological order in which religiosity enters physical and cultural space entirely. It was also evaluated and especially the ideology of Green Baptist Church in Boa Vista / RR and the border towns of Lethem and Santa Elena de Uiarem. It was observed that religion is done in different trajectories, exposing the fan and society itself to new systems. The role of the member or supporter is highlighted by its ability to reproduce your space, both social and cultural, imposing new ways of thinking and acting. Thus investigated the effect that religion has on the individual, and the influence of green ideology through Missioecologia in the lives of those who adopt it. O objetivo deste trabalho foi focalizar o envolvimento da religião com as questões ambientais o desenvolvimento cultural, econômico, social e humano como também as posições éticas e religiosas, propostos por entidades filosóficas. O interesse pelo tema foi despertado a partir da ideologia Missioecológica adotado pela Igreja Batista Verde em Boa Vista/RR. Para tanto, foram realizadas visitas, observações e entrevistas na igreja objeto desta pesquisa, estendendo-se para as cidades de Santa Elena de Uiarém (República Bolivariana da Venezuela) e cidade de Lethem (República Cooperativa da Guiana). Num primeiro momento, foram analisadas as correntes teóricas ligadas ao tema, destacando os fatores preponderantes do movimento religioso com ênfase na Missioecologia e no Ecodesenvolvimento. Em seguida foi realizado um levantamento sobre religião e sociedade: uma discussão teórica, o papel da igreja no processo de formação do Estado, a historicidade da religião e sua atuação em diversas sociedades, ressaltando o papel principal da crença em povos antigos e contemporâneos. Pois mais do que as medidas pragmáticas adotadas, fez-se interessante estudar os conteúdos doutrinários e as posições religiosas que vêm sendo difundidas aos adeptos e simpatizantes do movimento verde, bem como os propostos pelas igrejas de ideologia Missioecológica. Também foi avaliado a questão da religião e o discurso: uma consciência ambientalista, o papel da crença na busca de soluções para os problemas do meio ambiente e a nova ordem ecológica, no qual a religiosidade adentra espaço físico e cultural totalmente diferente. Avaliou-se ainda e principalmente a ideologia da Igreja Batista Verde em Boa Vista/RR e nas cidades fronteiriças de Lethem e Santa Elena de Uiarem. Observou-se que a religião se faz em trajetórias variadas, expondo o adepto e a própria sociedade a novas sistemáticas. O papel do membro ou adepto é destacado pela sua capacidade de reproduzir seu espaço, tanto social como cultural, impondo novas formas de pensar e agir. Dessa forma averiguou-se o efeito que a religião exerce sobre o indivíduo, e qual a influência da ideologia verde por meio da Missioecologia na de vida das pessoas que a adotam.
