Resumo:
This study aimed to evaluate the feasibility of implementing the procedure for granting the State Forest Tapauá created by decree 27.419/2009, with an area of 881 704 hectares, located in the southern state of Amazonas in the interfluve of the Purus and Madeira rivers, Ipixuna cut by rivers, Itaparanã and Alligator, presenting major risks to conservation because it is located in a region of high pressure to deforestation. This scenario motivated this work, which began with the study of forest management in the state of Amazonas to the forest concession and structuring a basemap of biophysical data over the area of State Forest Tapauá to develop a proposed zoning for the area study based on their potential for forest concession. With the aid of tools geotecnológicas letters of Soils, Slope, vegetation, hydrography were generated; Access roads and APP. Then it was held the survey of the potential for deployment of the forest concession system by combining the standard criteria for each thematic letter, with the potential outcomes for forest concession areas spatialized through a grid with blocks of 5000 hectares with different levels of potential for forest concession. Through the methodology applied, the results generally show that Tapauá State Forest has several desirable characteristics for deployment of the forest concession. Have a favorable operating practices of the reduced environmental impact topography. Potential areas identified for this purpose in this first effort was the magnitude of 113,194.86 hectares, equivalent to 61.37% of the total area devoted to forest concession from the State Forest Tapauá. Indicating a good opportunity for application and business ventures for the forestry sector.
