Resumo:
The choice of a material to make a particular product must be in accordance with the best conditions it can present. In the military industry, something that is sturdy and easy to use is needed because keeping large equipment in hand or in the air requires the toughest and lightest material possible. Then came the innovation of materials recurring from industries' need to be more practical giving rise to composite materials that helped us improve production in the military and automotive industries by combining materials that raise stiffness and have lower weight. The study of new materials seeks to reduce costs and improve technological advances in a practical, sustainable and quality way, thus focusing on renewable sources acquiring greater strength and lightness. The great importance for the concern with the degradation of the environment has generated more interest in increasing this study of composite materials than being something new, it needs to complement the studies that already exist because there are not many bibliographic sources that serve as theoretical basis, Therefore any discovery is of paramount importance to those who are interested in this area and who want to undertake new product alternatives. The discovery of these new materials leads to an improvement in mechanical, chemical and thermal properties, and with this work we seek to find new resources for other possible research on other types of materials and find applications for them. Thus, the study of this concluding work is to show the possibilities of materials made from what is extracted from nature, and to delve into the properties of clay that is a very rich ore as we already know, putting into practice how much natural resources can serve. as a means of improving technology. The materials studied are the options of fibers taken from the Amazonian natural habitat, such as curacao fiber, which is a plant that is being widely explored in the field of materials research, to show other possible extracts from nature that can be used as material through data reported by materials scientists. The evaluation of the possibility of machining with epoxy resin and organophilic clay that was obtained by the process of ion exchange. Secondly, the characterization and analysis of the properties was performed making a comparison with the materials already used in the aerospace and aeronautical industries.
