This approach aims at the elaboration of contextualized curricular mathematical activities in the ethnomathematics perspective. Thus, it is important that pedagogical action of ethnomathematics is related to the use of problem situations linked to the cultural background of these professionals and their students through the insertion of locally developed mathematical procedures. The main objective of this theoretical article is to show educational possibilities based on the principles of subversion responsible for the development of a critical, reflexive and constructivist pedagogical action for these courses. A proposta da Etnomatemática para os programas de formação inicial e continuada de professores está em sintonia com as tendências atuais da Educação Matemática, pois auxilia esses profissionais na investigação de práticas matemáticas que ocorrem em contextos diversos. Essa abordagem visa a elaboração de atividades matemáticas curriculares contextualizadas na perspectiva etnomatemática. Então, é importante que a ação pedagógica da Etnomatemática esteja relacionada com a utilização de situações-problema vinculadas à bagagem cultural desses profissionais e de seus alunos por meio da inserção de procedimentos matemáticos desenvolvidos localmente. O principal objetivo desse artigo teórico é mostrar as possibilidades educacionais fundamentadas nos princípios de subversão responsável para o desenvolvimento de uma ação pedagógica crítica, reflexiva e construtivista para esses programas.
