The population in the mid-1970s, which was mostly rural, underwent intense migration to the urban area. Today, more than half of the residents live in urban areas. Through this urban growth, there is a growing concern about population well-being. Therefore, we will carry out an analysis of the quality of lives through the resources acquired collectively, offered by the municipal public power, thus being able to satisfy the basic needs for the life of the inhabitants, thus contributing to the improvement of personal well-being and, consequently, of the conditions of life in the urban environment. We have as main objective to analyze the quality of life of the population of Porto Nacional - Tocantins, power through the IBEU - Urban Welfare Index and how these services influence the quality of life of the residents. The quality of life of a given population can be measured through different types of indicators. What will define what indicator to be used will be the definition of the concept of quality of life. In this work, the urban quality of life is understood as the degree of satisfaction of the basic necessities for human life, through the access to the public services received, in what can provide quality of life to the inhabitants of the geographic space studied. In order to measure the quality of life of the local population, we will use the methodological approach analyzed through the quantitative method, that is, an analysis of the secondary data, resulting from the Well Being Urban Index - IBEU survey. Then, we will use the approach the qualitative-quantitative method, through obtaining primary data. We will consider, as primary data, those data collected through a questionnaire applied in the population of Porto Nacional - Tocantins, where we will evaluate the perception of the local society. We do not intend to carry out a statistical calculation according to the number of inhabitants, but rather to obtain the perception of the residents of the municipality of Porto Nacional - TO about the public services offered and their influence on the quality of life of each individual. Nas últimas décadas do século XX, a urbanização mundial cresceu de maneiraacelerada. A população, em meados da década de 1970,era em maior parte, rural; atualmente, sofre com a migração intensa, para a área citadina, ocasionando mais da metade dos moradores presentes no espaço urbano. Mediante esse crescimento urbano, há uma crescente preocupação como bem-estar populacional. Nesta pesquisa realizamos uma análise da qualidade de vidas por meio dos recursos adquiridos de forma coletiva, oferecidos pelo Poder Público Municipal, podendo, assim, satisfazer as necessidades básicas para a vida dos habitantes. Contribuindo, dessa maneira, para a melhoria do bem-estar pessoal e, consequentemente, das condições de vidas no meio urbano. Temos como principal objetivo analisara qualidade de vida da população de Porto Nacional –Tocantins, mediante o Índice de Bem Estar Urbano-IBEU e como estes serviços influenciam na qualidade de vida dos moradores. A qualidade de vida de uma determinada população pode ser mensurada, por meio de diferentes tipos de indicadores. O que irá definir qual indicador a ser utilizado será a definição do conceito de qualidade de vida. Neste trabalho, a qualidade de vida urbana é entendida como o grau de satisfação das necessidades básicas para a vida humana, por meio do acesso aos serviços públicos recebidos, no que possa proporcionar qualidade de vida aos habitantes do espaço geográfico estudado. Para mensurar a qualidade de vida da população local, utilizamos a abordagem metodológica quantitativa, ou seja, uma análise dos dados secundários, oriundos da pesquisa do IBEU. Em seguida, utilizamos a abordagem quali-quantitativa, por intermédio da obtenção de dados primários. Consideraremos, como dados primários, aqueles dados coletados mediante a um questionário aplicado na população de Porto Nacional -Tocantins, em que avaliamos a percepção da sociedade local.
