Resumo:
The purpose of this work is to design a 150 kVA, 13.8kV / 380-220V three phase distribution transformer, wrapped core type, with oil insulation. In the design, constructional parts are dimensioned, such as core size, number of coil turns, section of conductors, losses, through equation in the OCTAVE software. Inrush calculations are also made in the same software, as well as the simulation of this current in the ATP (making the modeling of a transformer saturable). FEMM simulation was performed to obtain magnetic flux and loss data. For this, the core and coils are drawn in the software, with application of the materials predetermined in the first stage of calculations. The simulations in the ATP and the FEMM proved the calculated data, where the results of the simulations are consistent with expected results in light of the ABNT NBR 5440: 2014 Version Corrected Standard. The results are also submitted to comparisons with market equipment. With this, favorable conclusions were obtained regarding the methodology of calculations and simulations used, validating the projected equipment.
