Using as method the procedures of Comparative Literature, we will analyze both narratives in relation to the way they describe the role of women in society and the expectation surrounding the institution of marriage. From different periods and contexts, the plot of both stories reaches a comedic ending that exists only through the meeting of the heroine with the “ideal” partner. Esta monografia tem como objetivo principal analisar a personagem Elizabeth Bennet do romance Orgulho e Preconceito (Pride and Prejudice, 1813), da escritora inglesa Jane Austen, queaborda o destino das mulheres de acordo com as possibilidades dada a elas por uma sociedade patriarcal; eo conto de Cinderela,publicado no volume Contes de ma mère l' Oye (Contos da Mamãe Gansa, 1697) do autor Charles Perrault. Utilizando a metodologia da literatura comparada, analisaremos ambas narrativa sem relação ao modo como descrevem o papel das mulheres na sociedade e as expectativas em torno da instituição do casamento.Em épocas e contextos diferentes, os dois enredos trazem um final de cômico que se realiza através do encontro da heroína com seu parceiro “ideal”. 2019-12-04T14:49:39Z 2019-12-04T14:49:39Z 2019-06-28 Monografia FERREIRA, Alinne Morais.
