The aim of this study was to verify the perception of quality of life in patients with kidney disease with chronic kidney disease who underwent kidney transplantation in vivo at a referral hospital in the region of Araguaia, southeastern Pará State, in the treatment of kidney disease and therapies. renal surrogates to enable the multidisciplinary team working in kidney transplantation from 2012 to 2018. We studied 47 patients (35 men and 12 women), aged 23 to 65 years, 18 single and 29 married or in a stable union. For data collection, we used the self-applied generic Medical Outcomes Study 36-item Short-Form Health Survey (SF-36), translated and validated for the Portuguese language. It is noteworthy that this instrument is commonly applied in generic form, being appropriate for large populations, aiming to evaluate aspects related to physical, mental function and other health domains. The average scores of the dimensions of the domains analyzed for quality of life in general were: functional capacity 88, limitation by physical aspects 70, pain 82, general health 64, vitality 83, social aspects 87, limitation by emotional aspects 72 and mental health 83. The perception of the quality of life of transplanted patients in southeastern Pará presented scores above 64 in the domains of the questionnaire (SF-36) characterizing a good perception of the quality of life of these patients in relation to their health. a booklet for a multiprofessional team that works with this audience to improve the perception of health-related quality of life of patients undergoing kidney transplantation. |
