Resumo:
The creation of Conservation Units, aimed at the protection of natural and biological resources, is becoming more and more frequent. Many of these protected areas are located in hard-to-reach areas and have many natural attractions. Thus, when proper planning and management is not available, the use of trails within these areas can become a tension force. This research aims to evaluate the environmental impacts existing in the Trilha da Sede, through descriptive and quantitative analyzes in the Parque Estadual do Lajeado in Palmas - TO. To conduct the research, a trail (Trilha da Sede) was selected where the existing impacts were identified, as well as their quantification and qualification, and suggestions for impact control measures were made, aiming at local preservation and management. Visual impacts were observed through descriptive research and Visitation Impact Management (IVM). The use of this method made it possible to relate the perception of visual impacts, such as the qualification of the magnitude of the indicators of rock and root outcrops and water accumulation. It was found that the trails have significantly low impacts, practically throughout the trail, because it is not open for public visitation.
