The circumstance of the creation of the artwork is the result of a creative power, which feeds on the energy that arises from the feeling of incompleteness that man has. This need to create is designed to develop works of art that translate perceptions of reality in the form of music, dance, theater, visual arts and literature. We realized that direct contact with the work of art, as well as the possibility of experiencing the production of a work of art, promote enriching experiences and develop the creative potential of those involved in this process. Adding knowledge from the aesthetic and necessary sensitizations for life in society. Therefore, education through creativity influences the effective performance of man in society, enabling him to increase his problem-solving capacity. Thus, through the provision of learning from the arts, we perceive the increase in individual substantive freedoms as a positive mechanism for social development. This dissertation aims to circumscribe all forms of artistic productions in the city of Araguaína / TO, which take place in public and private institutions, to enunciate public projects and policies aimed at artistic events, to list the public buildings available for artistic events and to meet the artists of the urban environment. The nature of the research is from a qualitative perspective, where we performed a descriptive analysis of the documentary data provided by the city, of data described in the theses and dissertations on Araguaína and of the data obtained through visits to institutions that develop artistic activities. This time, we verified that the artistic scenario of Araguaína is focused on musical performances. We understand that there is still a lack of opportunities for events that contemplate other forms of art. The city needs a museum, a convention center, free art centers, it needs to establish other units of the Reciclarte school, it needs to provide means for the private sector to invest in arts events. A arte é uma atividade intrínseca à vida do homem, e por meio dela ele materializa seus sentimentos, modificando e construindo o meio social em que vive. A circunstância da criação da obra de arte é resultante de uma potência criadora, que se alimenta da energia que surge a partir do sentimento de incompletude que o homem tem. Essa necessidade de criar é projetada a desenvolver obras de artes que traduzem as percepções da realidade em forma de música, dança, teatro, artes visuais e literatura. Percebemos que o contato direto com a obra de arte, bem como a possibilidade de experienciar a produção de uma obra de arte, promovem experiências enriquecedoras e desenvolvem o potencial criativo de quem se envolve neste processo. Agregando saberes a partir das sensibilizações estéticas e necessários para a vida em sociedade. Portanto, a educação pela via da criatividade influencia na atuação efetiva do homem na sociedade, capacitando-o a aumentar sua capacidade resolutiva de problemas. Sendo assim, através da oferta de aprendizados oriundos das artes percebemos o aumento das liberdades substantivas individuais como um mecanismo positivo de desenvolvimento social. Esta dissertação almeja circunscrever todas as formas de produções artísticas da cidade de Araguaína/TO, que ocorrem em instituições públicas e privadas, enunciar os projetos e as políticas públicas voltadas para eventos artísticos, enumerar os prédios públicos disponíveis para eventos artísticos e conhecer os artistas do meio urbano. A natureza da pesquisa é de perspectiva qualitativa, onde realizamos análise descritiva dos dados documentais fornecidos pela prefeitura, de dados descritos nas teses e dissertações sobre Araguaína e dos dados obtidos por meio de visitas as instituições que desenvolvem atividades artísticas. Desta feita, verificamos que o cenário artístico de Araguaína tem o foco voltado para as apresentações musicais. Compreendemos que falta oportunizar eventos que contemplem outras formas de arte.
