One of these strategies that has had an effect is the use of technological media in favor of teaching. Since decades past, several applications and educational software have been created in order to improve the teaching of mathematics. Thus, this work aims at a study of elementary curves in Analytical Geometry from a Civil Engineering perspective using GrafEq software, since many students enter and leave high school with great difficulties in dealing with the identification and application of lines, curves and regions delimited by elementary algebraic expressions generating a stumbling block for the study of Analytical Geometry and other related disciplines in Higher Education in courses such as Civil Engineering and Degree in Mathematics. An exploratory methodology was used with a bibliographic review on the pertinent subject, whose final work culminates in a didactic proposal that can be applied in high school students’ classes. As grandes mudanças no mundo globalizado estão cada vez mais obrigando os docentes a procurarem novas formas de lecionar estabelecendo estratégias para prender a atenção dos alunos, motivando-os aos estudos. Uma dessas estratégias que tem surtido efeito é a utilização das mídias tecnológicas em prol do ensino. Desde décadas passadas até agora, já foram desenvolvidos diversos aplicativos e softwares educacionais com o intuito de melhorar o ensino da Matemática. Assim, o presente trabalho tem por objetivo um estudo das curvas elementares na Geometria Analítica em uma perspectiva para a Engenharia Civil utilizando o software GrafEq, visto que muitos alunos entram e saem do Ensino Médio com grandes dificuldades, em se tratando da identificação e aplicação das linhas, curvas e regiões delimitadas por expressões algébricas elementares, gerando um tropeço para o estudo da Geometria Analítica, bem como outras disciplinas afins no Ensino Superior, em cursos como Engenharia Civil e Licenciatura em Matemática. Fora utilizada uma metodologia de cunho exploratório com uma revisão bibliográfica sobre o assunto pertinente, cujo trabalho final culmina em uma proposta didática que pode ser aplicada em turmas de alunos do Ensino Médio. 2021-03-02T14:11:22Z 2021-03-02T14:11:22Z 2020-11-27 Dissertação AQUINO, Jedaías Sousa.
