This article aims to characterize sexual violence based on data from the network for the protection and defense of the rights of children and adolescents in the city of Paraíso do Tocantins. Socio-historical theory is adopted. With regard to the methodological path, this article follows a qualitative approach, using data characterization sheets that were filled in according to the information contained in each institution's reports. For data analysis, descriptive analysis and Iramuteq software were used. Among the main results, with regard to the characteristics of sexual violence, the victims are female, with a prevalence of age from 13 to 17 years old, being the stepfather, father and / or grandfather the aggressors who most appeared. Regarding the referrals and articulation of the network, it is observed that the bodies that most appeared as responsible were the Guardianship Council, CREAS and police station, signaling a certain lack of knowledge about how the network should work in the municipality. With regard to organizational support, it was identified that the social actors do not see it as sufficient, since, due to the lack of resources, they are unable to satisfactorily respond to the demands that appear.
