Thus, this study investigated the relations of gender and sexuality in the formation of / of Physical Education teachers in the interior of Tocantins, in order to answer the question: Is there a Dialogue of Sexuality and Gender in the Pedagogical Projects of Physical Education courses Federal University of Tocantins, Campus Miracema, Tocantinopólis and Federal Institute of Tocantins, Campus Palmas? Therefore, it was evaluated how the theme Gender and Sexuality were addressed in the Pedagogical Course Projects (PPCs) and in the curricular matrices of the Physical Education Degree courses of Higher Education Institutions of Tocantins (IES) as well as identifying themselves in the curricular matrices There are specific disciplines on “gender” and / or “sexuality” in the EF degree program at IES do Tocantins, to analyze how gender and sexuality themes are addressed in the EF course and to discuss the place of gender and sexuality relations in the curricula of Physical Education courses. Then, a Document Analysis research was carried out and it was concluded that thematic is brought across, like many menus which present the National Curriculum Parameters (PCN) that deal with the transversality of the theme, but that do not deepen the debate. In most of the menus, the term “gender issues” or the word “gender” was mentioned more without accompanying an author (or) who promotes and discusses the topic in more depth. Tendo em vista a diversidade que a escola proporciona, torna-se cada vez mais necessário, na formação do professor de Educação Física (EF), o debate sobre conceitos que serão vivenciados na escola. Dessa forma, esse estudo pesquisou as relações de gênero e sexualidade na formação das/dos professores de Educação Física no interior do Tocantins, a fim de responder à pergunta: Existe o Diálogo de Sexualidade e Gênero nos Projetos Pedagógicos dos cursos de Educação Física Licenciatura da Universidade Federal do Tocantins, Câmpus Miracema, Tocantinopólis e Instituto Federal do Tocantins, Câmpus Palmas? Para tanto, avaliou-se como a temática Gênero e Sexualidade eram abordadas nos Projetos Pedagógicos de Curso (PPCs)e nas matrizes curriculares dos cursos de Licenciatura em Educação Física das Instituições de Ensino Superior do Tocantins (IES) bem como identificar se nas matrizes curriculares do curso de Licenciatura em EF do IES do Tocantins há disciplinas específicas sobre “gênero” e/ou “sexualidade”, analisar como as temáticas de gênero e sexualidade são abordadas no curso de EF e discutir o lugar das relações de gênero e sexualidade nos currículos dos cursos de Educação Física. Realizou-se então, uma pesquisa de Análise Documental e concluiu-se que atemática é trazida de forma transversal, como muitas ementas as quais apresentam os Parâmetros Curriculares Nacionais (PCN) que tematizam a transversalidade do tema, mas que não aprofundam o debate.
