The program has the professional nutritionist as the responsible technician, who has mandatory duties such as menu preparation, nutritional monitoring, carrying out actions of food and nutrition education, preparation of annual work plan and other duties that must be fulfilled in order to ensure quality and adequatenutrition for the students. Given this, the present work aims to verify the performance of the attributions performed by the Nutritionists Technical Responsible of the National School Feeding Program acting in the Regional Board of Education in the city of Palmas-TO. This is a descriptive cross sectional study in which data collected through structured questionnaires were applied to the Nutritionists in charge of the Palmas-TO Regional Board of Education. The research results showed that thirty attributions of the nutritionist were evaluated, 83.3% mandatory and 16.7% complementary. It was concluded that the Rt´s meet more than 2/3 ofthe analyzed attributes and most of the mandatory items (64% ) provided for in the legislation governing the program. O Programa Nacional de Alimentação Escolar abrange, dentro do ambiente escolar, o direito humano à alimentação adequada e à segurança alimentar e nutricional, proporcionando atendimento universal aos alunos matriculados na rede pública de educação básica. O programa conta com o profissional nutricionista como responsável técnico, o qual possui atribuições obrigatórias, como elaboração de cardápio, acompanhamento nutricional, realização de ações de educação alimentar e nutricional, elaboração de plano anual de trabalho, entre outras atribuições que devem ser cumpridas de modo à garantir uma alimentação de qualidade e em quantidade adequada para os alunos. Diante disso, o presente trabalho tem por objetivo verificar a execução das atribuições realizadas pelos nutricionistas responsáveis técnicos do Programa Nacional de Alimentação Escolar atuantes na Diretoria Regional de Ensino no município de Palmas-TO. Trata-se de um estudo do tipo transversal de caráter descritivo, no qual foram utilizados dados coletados por meio de questionários estruturados aplicados aos nutricionistas responsáveis técnicos da diretoria regional de ensino de Palmas-TO. Os resultados da pesquisa mostraram que foram avaliadas trinta atribuições do nutricionista, 83,3% obrigatórias e 16,7% complementares.
