Resumo:
Introduction: The nutritionist has expanded his space of action in the job market, both in the public and private sectors, since the regulation of the profession in 1967. Objective: The objective of this systematic review was to describe the role of the nutritionist in the school feeding reported in scientific bases. Methodology: It was a systematic review, with scientific bases: Lilacs and Scielo using the descriptors: Food polices and Nutrition, School feeding, Nutritionist, Food and Nutrition Education, Health at School. Results: Most of the studies were published in the year 2013, and most of them were published in the Magazine Nutrition, a good part of these studies were conducted out in the South region. Most activities conducted out by nutritionist refer to the nutritional diagnosis, the interaction with family farmers, supervising hygiene activities and advising the School Feeding Council (CAE). Conclusion: From de systematic review, it was evidenced that nutritionist developed some mandatory activities provide in the legislation, however, mandatory actions such as the preparation of technical sheets, manual of good practices and application of acceptability test appeared neglected in the selected articles.
