In this study, we seek to analyze whether teachers are prepared to care for children with ASD, taking into account the current scenario of the educational system that guides educational actions towards a student inclusion process. We adopted the qualitative research and the case study, having as instruments: the observation made through the registration in a field diary and the application of a questionnaire for the subjects participating in the research: students with ASD, teachers and caregiver / support teacher. The results obtained in the research show that the specialization and training of teachers in the areas of Special Education is essential, the lack of knowledge on the part of teachers provides an increase in the teaching gap and ends up harming the educational development of students with ASD. O presente trabalho objetivou investigar as características do processo de inclusão de estudantes com TEA (Transtorno de Espectro Autista) em uma escola pública de Ensino Fundamental. Buscamos neste estudo analisar se os professores estão preparados para o atendimento de crianças com TEA, levando em conta o atual cenário do sistema educacional que orienta as ações educativas para um processo de inclusão do estudante. Adotamos a pesquisa qualitativa e o estudo de caso, tendo como instrumentos: a observação realizada através do registro em diário de campo e a aplicação de questionário para os sujeitos participantes da pesquisa: alunos com TEA, professoras e cuidadora/professora de apoio. Os resultados obtidos na pesquisa mostram que é imprescindível a especialização e capacitação dos docentes nas áreas de Educação Especial, a falta de conhecimento por parte dos professores proporciona o aumento da defasagem do ensino e acaba prejudicando o desenvolvimento educacional dos discentes com TEA. 2021-11-17T12:41:00Z 2021-11-17T12:41:00Z 2020-11-03 Monografia SOUZA, Lorrany Francisca de.
