Resumo:
This monograph approuches literacy practices in Rural Education, having as a research context a school located in the village of Bom Jesus da Palma, in the municipality of Paranã - TO. The study aims to reflect on pedagogical practices aimed at written production, verifying whether the activities are related to the literacy perspective. The methodology is qualitative - in addition to interpreting the data collected through field research, it also contributes to the school by conducting a workshop based on the production of the textual genre ticket. The theoretical basis of the study is Rural Education (CALDART, 2009) and literacy (BARBATO, 2008) - among other authors. The research is associated with a perspective from the perspective of literacy for textual production as a social practice, that is, the role of textual genres in the most varied social and linguistic contexts.
