Resumo:
This research aimed to analyze the use of social networks as a marketing strategy by women entrepreneurs in the city of Palmas-TO. With the advent of the internet and the accelerated growth in the use of social networks, it has enabled companies to have a great marketing tool to promote products, services and, above all, the company's brand. We tried to describe the strategies, diagnose the main challenges and understand by the perception of the entrepreneurs if the use of social networks is really efficient to obtain positive results. The data of this research were collected through the application of a structured questionnaire, we obtained answers from 54 entrepreneurs, after the data collection were tabulated by statistical and interpretation means. Based on the results found, it is concluded that the use of social networks, with truly defined strategies and despite the challenges, is a great marketing tool to promote the brand, increase sales and, consequently, obtain new customers.
