In recente times, autobiographical research has become evidente and it is increasingly possible
to contemplate ways of investigating the teaching, training and life of teachers. The general
objective of this research was to tll about how the life history and teaching knowledge of
accounting professor Wilde are intertwined. From this perspectie, thematic oral history was used
in order to tell the life story and teaching knowledge of Professor Wilde. The teacher’s life story
allows us to uderstand how her personal characteritics influence her daily practice, that is, there
is no possibility of separating to teaching practice. It is noteworthy that the teaching knowledge
ponted out by Tardif is found in the teache’s history, which are: knowledge from her own
experience in the profession, in the classroom and at school; knowledge from previous school
education; knowledge of programs and textbooks used at word; teacher’s personal knowledge;
knowledge from professional trainig for teaching. Finally, it is clear that teaching as a prfession
must consider the specifc contexts experienced by each person, since teaching knowledge has
diferente sources. Bringing these sources to light allows us to better understande the rigins of
diferente teaching practices. |
