The use of the web for the provision of information and services by government agencies to the population has become increasingly important. Despite this, the internet still
has many barriers that hinder everyone’s access and interaction. In view of this, the
present work proposes to make a detailed study of the PA11Y software, which is a free
and open-source tool that helps designers and developers to make Web pages more
accessible. Thus, the importance of this tool, its main characteristics, and limitations,
where and how it can be used will be pointed out. Besides, the PA11Y tool will be used
for an accessibility assessment on the Detran - TO portal. |
