Dra. Fabiana Cordeiro Rosa. The internship took place from January 19 to April 1, 2021, with a workload of 424 hours. Activities were carried out in the areas of animal production and reproduction in properties located in the northern region of the state of Tocantins and southeast of the state of Pará. The main activities developed were, gynecological examination, fixed-time artificial insemination (IATF), diagnosis of pregnancy by transrectal palpation and ultrasound, maternity management, training of rural employees and phenotypic selection of matrices. The mandatory supervised curricular internship is essential for graduation in the course in veterinary medicine, allowing the improvement of the techniques acquired during their academic training, experiencing in practice what is the professional reality, preparing the student to work in the job market. Very important experience for the professional future. O Estágio Curricular Supervisionado Obrigatório foi conduzido sob a supervisão do Médico Veterinário Yan Oliveira Lacerda, profissional liberal, que presta serviço nas áreas de Reprodução e Produção Animal, e sob a orientação da Profa. Dra. Fabiana Cordeiro Rosa. O estágio ocorreu no período de 19 de janeiro à 01 de abril de 2021, com carga horária de 424 horas. Foram desenvolvidas atividades nas áreas de produção e reprodução animal em propriedades localizadas na região norte do estado do Tocantins e sudeste do estado do Pará. As principais atividades desenvolvidas foram, exame ginecológico, inseminação artificial em tempo fixo (IATF), diagnóstico de gestação por palpação transretal e ultrassonografia, manejo de maternidade, treinamento de colaboradores rurais e seleção fenotípica de matrizes. O estágio curricular supervisionado obrigatório é fundamental para a graduação no curso em medicina veterinária, permitindo o aperfeiçoamento das técnicas adquirida durante sua formação acadêmica, vivenciar na pratica como é a realidade profissional, preparando o estudante para atuar no mercado de trabalho.
