This qualitative work is an action-research with the objective of mapping and reframing the beliefs of seven students, including three male and four female participants, all belonging to a class of the Youth and Adult Education Program (EJA) of a public school in the city of Araguaína, located in the state of Tocantins, North Region. For data collection, drawings and narratives were used. They were made before and after a project named ENGLISH MOTIVATION. The results show resignification of some beliefs, based on our actions. The project helped most participants to change some of their negative beliefs. We believe that if students continued with the project, many negative concepts they have about the English language would be re-signified. Our objective is also showing how was the process of some disruptions that occurred during our work, how we acted and the development of students who participated.
