Resumo:
This study aimed to promote a reflection on how the inclusion of deaf students in schools has been developing, as well as presenting all the necessary resources of inclusion and worthy learning for all deaf people, especially LIBRAS. It addresses topics such as deafness and deafness, the historicity of how the development of deaf acceptance in society began to date, and all current inclusion laws for the contribution of knowledge to all deaf individuals. It will be noted that the great challenge of school inclusion is not Deaf students or those with any disabilities, but a hegemonic system of relationships, historically rooted and still resistant to change. Finally, it brings an account of the author's experience about the history of inclusion of her two deaf brothers in school and, as a consequence, in society.
