We know that remote learning brought significant changes in the process of teaching these children and, consequently, required new assignments, transformations and adaptations for their families. In this way, we seek to understand how was (and still is) this process of teaching these children and the implications for the lives and routine of their families during this context. In this work, we also bring some important discussions on recent research carried out on the impacts of remote learning, made by researchers from different public universities in the country, such as the research “Infância em Tempos de Pandemia”, developed by researchers from UFMG. We also had as a reference Marin et al. (2020) - published in the series of booklets “Saúde mental e atenção psicossocial na pandemia COVID-19”, by FIOCRUZ -, the legal bases of brazilian education (CF, LDB, DCNEI and BNCC), as well as other documents. We also present some fundamental concepts for understanding the schooling process of children, such as the concept of childhood. The research pointed out many losses for children and, consequently, for their social, affective, emotional, physical, psychological and cognitive development. We emphasize that families have become central figures in the mediation of remote teaching, even without having adequate training for this. It was also clear that the families themselves felt powerless many times. Finally, we concluded that it will be necessary for us to continue reflecting and seeking together - family, school, public authorities - for better conditions for teaching these children. Esta é uma pesquisa de abordagem qualitativa que teve como objetivo ouvir e tentar compreender, a partir de entrevistas semiestruturadas, os apontamentos feitos por crianças da Educação Infantil, dos três primeiros anos do Ensino Fundamental e de suas famílias, a respeito dos impactos do ensino remoto na vida de cada uma. Sabemos que o ensino remoto implicou em significativas alterações no ensino dessas crianças e, consequentemente, exigiu novas atribuições, transformações e adaptações por parte de suas famílias. Desse modo, buscamos compreender como foi (e ainda está sendo) o processo de ensino dessas crianças e as implicações na vida e rotina de suas famílias durante esse contexto. Neste trabalho, trazemos ainda algumas discussões importantes sobre pesquisas recentes realizadas sobre os impactos do ensino remoto, feitas por pesquisadores de diferentes universidades públicas do país, como a pesquisa “Infância em Tempos de Pandemia”, desenvolvida por pesquisadores da UFMG. Tivemos ainda como referencial Marin et al. (2020) - em publicação na série de cartilhas “Saúde mental e atenção psicossocial na pandemia COVID-19”, da FIOCRUZ -, as bases legais da educação nacional (CF, LDB, DCNEI e BNCC), bem como outros documentos. Apresentamos ainda alguns conceitos fundamentais para a compreensão do processo de escolarização de crianças como, por exemplo, o conceito de infância. A pesquisa apontou muitas perdas para as crianças e, consequentemente, para seu desenvolvimento social, afetivo, emocional, físico, psicológico e cognitivo. Enfatizamos que as famílias se tornaram figuras centrais na mediação do ensino em modo remoto, mesmo sem terem formação adequada para isso. Ficou explícito ainda que as próprias famílias se sentiam impotentes em muitos momentos.
