The research consists of a proposal for teaching intercultural and decolonial philosophy for
indigenous peoples, especially for the Akwẽ-Xerente people, which is the focus of our research.
Perspectivism, which conceives the world as interpretation, will guide us to a path where
epistemological diversity is present. In this way, we found in CEMIX the right environment for
our research, because there, because it is an indigenous school unit, we are in direct contact
with people who bring with them another way of knowing the world, of acting on the world.
Therefore, our intervention aims to contribute to the realization of a philosophy teaching that
provides an opportunity for a dialogue between the different ways of knowing, demonstrating
that knowledge can be diverse, but with a critical thought about its place of speech, about its
reality, to so that we can take an intercultural and decolonial approach. We want to bring out
indigenous knowledge, so that we show it as an epistemology as valid as the European one. |
