The new coronavirus pandemic affected all countries, but the countries that suffered the most were the countries that are going through humanitarian and economic crises. Disaster operations management and, in particular, humanitarian logistics are critical to minimizing the suffering of victims affected at all stages of the disaster. This study aims to review the literature on humanitarian logistics, relating it to the current pandemic moment. It was identified that humanitarian logistics were more affected in Brazil as a result of negligence by the federal government and misinformation by the population in general. Os desastres e as catástrofes têm sido cada vez mais frequentes no mundo, causados por motivos diversos, atingindo populações em áreas urbanas e rurais. A pandemia do novo coronavírus afetou todos os países, porém os países que mais sofreram foram os países que passam por crises humanitárias e econômicas. A gestão de operações em desastres e, em especial, a logística humanitária, são fundamentais para minimizar o sofrimento das vítimas afetadas em todas as fases do desastre. Esse estudo tem por objetivo fazer uma pesquisa bibliográfica sobre a logística humanitária, relacionando-a com o atual momento pandêmico vivido.
