It was evident that the number of contracts for communication and multimedia services had an expressive growth in the years 2020 and 2021, which is closely linked to the spread of the virus that causes covid- 19, to the restrictive measures used since the beginning of the pandemic and the attempts to face the public health emergency. The internet proved to be essential as a personal management tool in the city of Araguaína -TO. O objetivo geral do trabalho foi analisar o crescimento do uso de internet no município de Araguaína- TO durante a pandemia de Covid-19 como ferramenta de gestão pessoal, bem como analisar a quantidade de contratos feitos pela população desse município em provedores de internet. Além de comparar a diferença contratual com relação ao ano anterior (antes da pandemia). Para alcançar os objetivos deste trabalho foi utilizado como matriz teórica aspectos ligados ao histórico da internet, ao crescimento do uso da internet, Home office no contexto da pandemia e a importância da internet, a internet e o marketing digital em meio a pandemia. O trabalho teve as seguintes etapas: Coleta de dados sobre a empresa provedora de internet, aplicação de questionários para o provedor. Foi evidente que o número de contrato dos serviços de comunicação e multimídia tiveram um crescimento expressivo nos anos de 2020 e 2021, o que está intimamente ligado à disseminação do vírus que causa a covid-19, às medidas restritivas utilizadas desde o início da pandemia e as tentativas de enfrentamento da emergência de saúde pública.
