The present work aims to verify the difficulties faced by Araguaína entrepreneurs in
managing their businesses in times of a pandemic. The technical procedures used were
bibliographic research together with data collection from companies in the city. The
questionnaire consisted of six unstructured questions, sent via WhatsApp to 25 companies in
the region. The survey was conducted from March to April 2022 and received a response
from 52% of the consulted establishments. One of the main results observed was in relation to
the initial impact of the pandemic, which directly affected the flow of customers in the
establishments and the variation of prices. Social networks were fundamental for attracting
new customers and boosting products and services. Based on the present study, future
research related to the topic is recommended, mainly to verify whether the strategies adopted
during the pandemic remain or have returned to the previous level. |
