This article aimed to analyze the disposal of lubricating oils in a company in the city of
Araguaína and as specific objectives to identify the transport channels for collection in the
city of Araguaína, compare the actors involved in the shared responsibility in the life cycle of
the used lubricating oil as it is in art. 3 item XVII of Law No. 12.305/2010. This is a Case
Study. It presents a qualitative approach and, as a way of collecting data, it was done through
a semi-structured interview applied to the manager of the company in the field of lubricating
oil trade. for the theoretical framework, the main references of reverse logistics were brought
as support. It is justified by the importance of reverse logistics of lubricating oil, especially
for recycling and thus introducing this new raw material into the production chain. Thus, it
can be seen that companies use reverse logistics to account for the volume of products used in
their daily routines so that they can be disposed of efficiently, that is, forwarding them to the
deposit area until they are collected by the purchasing company and taken to the recycling
