The aim of the present study was to inventory and analyze the themes addressed in the
monographs of a Biology course in a Distance Education modality, presented between the
years 2010 to 2016. The study is a descriptive bibliometric research with a quantitative
approach. It was observed the predominance in relation to the consonance of the themes of
monograph in pedagogical areas and future area of action, that 58% of the works were carried
out addressing topics outside the pedagogical area, and 42% were carried out within the
pedagogical area. It was observed in the analyzed monographs, the predominance of studies in
the area of Public Health was 18% (N=9), followed by the area of Science Education and
Ethnobiology, both areas with 16% (N=8) and Teaching Methodologies with 14% (N=7) |
