The study in question aimed to investigate the characteristics of recreational activities as a methodology in didactic-pedagogical practices in the teaching of Geography, in order to discuss its relevance, as well as to develop didactic material for teaching and geographic learning. This work aims to address the difficulties faced by most students in acquiring knowledge and content related to Geography. From the perspective of continuous improvement of the pedagogical practice used, research and knowledge of active methodologies through play can be a strategy to achieve meaningful and contextual learning. This investigation was based on theoretical analysis and qualitative methodology. It is believed that this thematic approach is conducive to the formation of personal and professional skills for life and changes to behaviors that involve the role of the student. In this sense, play is a way in which students participate in school and academic activities, with the purpose of learning, because those who play can also act, feel, think, learn and develop |
