Resumo:
Schools should be a “space for dialogue, communication, in which the possibilities of accessing knowledge and sharing values and attitudes take into account the premise of this interrelationship” (OLIVEIRA; DAOLIO, 2011, p. 3). In this way, the present work aims to highlight and analyze the elements linked to the history and indigenous culture in the National Common Curricular Base (BNCC) and in the syllabus of Physical Education in the Curriculum Reference Document of the State of Tocantins for elementary education. a brief presentation of the indigenous peoples present in the state of Tocantins. And we used bibliographical research as a methodology, and for the accomplishment of this work, the guiding documents for basic education were analyzed, having as main document the document Reference curricular of Tocantins Linguagens: Educação Física. Thus, with regard to the Physical Education curricular component, body practices are divided into six thematic units (Plays and Games, Sports, Gymnastics, Dances, Fights and Adventure Body Practices), emphasizing that these must be approached respecting the singularities of each student, allowing students access to the cultures of body practices present in Physical Education classes at school, in addition to living and effective experience.
