The writing of this Course Conclusion Paper is part of the experiences acquired during the
Regency in the Internship and Pedagogical Residency Program carried out at the Federal
University of Tocantins and which were of paramount importance for teacher training. The
objective of this work is to present the experiences lived during the Regency in the Mandatory
Internship and in the Pedagogical Residency Program (2018-2020), emphasizing the
importance of the practice in the initial formation in Geography in the city of Araguaína-TO.
The intention is to describe the objectives of the Mandatory Internship and the Pedagogical
Residency Program, highlighting from the articulation of theory to practice during the
conducting of elementary and high school education, and thus emphasizing contributions of
this daily school immersion during the teaching training process. The methodology used in this
work was a qualitative approach, using bibliographic research and document analysis as
methodological procedures. The geographic category place contributed to the analysis and
perception of the reality of the school space and its specificities. The reflection on the relevance
of the Regency in the Internship and Pedagogical Residence was possible after the rereading of
a period of paramount importance for teacher training, a phase of learning and difficulties,
which together potentiated the process of building knowledge. |
