The present work aims to describe the activities developed during the Supervised Curricular Internship period, a mandatory requirement for obtaining a bachelor's degree in Veterinary Medicine from the Universidade Federal do Tocantins. The internship was developed in the area of health and reproduction of dairy cattle with a focus on the area of reproduction. Held from March 7 to May 16, 2022, totaling a workload of 390 hours. During the internship, it was possible to follow the entire production cycle of dairy cattle, from the pre-calving management of the animals, through the initial care of the neonates to the drying of the cows, characterizing a production cycle, which has several obstacles in several sectors, and that with sanitary care, their losses can be minimized. The present report also reports a case of puerperal clinical endometritis and its critical points within the reproductive performance of the dairy female.
