The present report describes the activities developed during the mandatory supervised internship that occurred in the period of March 7th and May 16th of 2022 under the supervision of veterinarian Gibson Isfran da Silva and orientation of Prof. Dr. Katyane de Sousa Almeida, totalizing 390 hours. The activities were developed in many properties located on the north region of Tocantins, where services were performed regarding to Reproduction and Medical Clinic of Bovines, that consisted on fixed-time artificial insemination (FTAI), pregnancy diagnosis, evaluation of reproductive system of heifers, reproductive control of the cattle, vaccination, deworming and clinical care. The case of interest in this work is a heifer with suspected embryo resorption caused by an improper application of sodium cloprostenol, during a management related to the FTAI protocol, which resulted in clinical endometritis. The animal was treated with a new application of cloprostenol sodium and removed from the breeding season, in order to avoid damage to its reproductive health.
